Flu Fallacy

News: Some health care agencies are administering late-season flu shots, citing what they call the “worst season in recent memory.”

Comment: Let’s stop the lies once and for all. I’ve never had a flu shot, and I’ve never had the flu. Granted, I may be out of the ‘risk areas’ right now, but I never got a shot when I was a kid, either. I won’t get one as an elderly man.

Flu shots are nothing more than an expensive placebo to quell superstition. Doctors scare people into getting the shots and the masses blindly follow — even though many people who get the shots end up becoming sick because of them.

Don't believe the hype.
Don’t believe the hype.

The body is an intricate mechanism. It doesn’t need you to inject some foreign object into it in the name of ‘science.’ Most people will agree that heroin isn’t good for you. Injecting flu vaccine makes about as much sense as injecting heroin.

People will argue that “the whole medical community stands behind the shots.” Of course they do! It’s big business. Even the (very few!) health care professionals who actually do care are just going along with the pack.

Remember, it wasn’t too long ago when everyone smoked cigarettes — even doctors and nurses! They thought it was all honky-dory. Then they learned the truth. Or what about when the scientific community ‘agreed’ that the world was flat? I guess we’ve all forgotten about that ‘absolute truth.’

Still, some people seem to have no trouble contributing to the hospitals’ bottom line by paying for these saline shots every year. Then they go out and profess the “great need” for everyone to do the same. What a fine racket these doctors have going!
