Cops are on Facebook, too.
18-year-old Jacob Cox-Brown of Astoria, Oregon found that out the hard way when he changed his status to:
“Drivin’ drunk. Classic. But to whoever’s car I hit, I am sorry. :-p”
When one of his 650 ‘friends’ saw the update, they alerted police, who weren’t laughing at Cox-Brown’s ‘joke.’ Turns out the teen actually did hit and damage two vehicles. No one was hurt.
The social media fan was arrested and charged with two counts of “failing to perform the duties of a driver.” There is no word on whether he’ll update his Facebook status from jail.
