Dangerous Thinking

News: Author John Grisham has recently come under fire for his criticism of the U.S. Justice System, as it pertains to pedophiles.

Grisham says shorter sentences should be in place for older offenders who may have “had too much to drink and pushed the wrong buttons,” suggesting they accidentally found and viewed child pornography.

Comment: No, Mr. Grisham, this is not a case of an absent-minded old man who drank too much and accidentally “pushed the wrong buttons.” It’s about disturbed individuals robbing children of their innocence. If you actually believe your public statements, you clearly need to do more reading, researching, and thinking than writing.

  1. Viewing images of abuse is not a victim-less crime. These are real children in real danger. So long as the perverts Mr. Grisham (for some reason) so vehemently defends demand these images, the supply will continue – robbing children of their innocence in the process.
