Sometimes you just need a good old-fashioned drunken gallop. That was the case for a Hartford, Connecticut man, who took a police horse for a late-night joy ride through the city.
Police say the 41-year-old man — who has not been identified — worked at the stables where the horses were housed. After getting “numerous complaints” about a man in a cowboy hat riding around, hootin’-and-a-hollerin’, cops arrested the man. The horse was unhurt, and police say was actually “in good spirits” when found. Perhaps the man shared some of his adult beverage with the animal?
