By now, even people “living under a rock” have heard about Kim Kardashian getting robbed. The woman famous for being famous was recently robbed at gunpoint in Paris. Now, investigators say her social media posts full of “bling” might be partly to blame.
I’m sad for Kim, I really am. I’m sure it was a traumatic experience. But here’s the thing: people get robbed every day. And for them, it’s not so easy to ‘bounce back.’ Plus, many of those victims aren’t so lucky to get away unhurt. A lot of robbery victims even get killed when they try to fight back.
So while the incident was unfortunate, it definitely kept her name in the news. I’m not saying it was an “inside job,” but I am saying that many, many people get robbed every day, and they don’t walk away from it all like Kim K. was able to.
