Sue You, Sue Everybody

5 Oct

There’s been a lot of back-and-forth talk lately about Congress’ override of the President’s veto, making it possible for the families of victims of 9/11 to sue the government of Saudi Arabia.

Critics say it will create hundreds of thousands of junk lawsuits, and open the United States up for expensive court sessions that could take years to settle. So what?

Time to open your wallet, suck-o!

9/11 was the worst tragedy this country has ever seen. And everybody knows the Saudis were responsible. Whether or not they want to admit it, everybody knows. It’s time they were held accountable.

This is even a good move for the U.S. Maybe knowing you could get sued will stop the government from invading/bombing sovereign countries. Right now, there are no consequences at all for our political leaders. Citizens are dying, but the politicians who ok’ed the wars are now lounging around — living the high life.

Can’t Always Get What You Want

Finally, I just love the fact that Obama got a big middle finger on this one from both sides of the aisle. He finally got knocked off his ivory tower… and I love it! I hope it pisses him off, ‘cause there’s not a damn thing he can do about it now! Suck on it, Obama!
