An Australian Islamic group wants to create “safe spaces” for young Muslims to discuss “inflammatory” issues. The Islamic Council of Victoria says youth currently feel intimidated having conversations in public. What?!

Wide Awake

Look, I don’t condone violence against anyone, but maybe the reason people are upset is because the victims of terrorist attacks were never given an opportunity for any kind of safe space, and in fact were never even given a chance.

I’m not calling all Muslims terrorists. I’m not. It’s the furthest thing from the truth. But the fact is that if any group willingly isolates them from the rest of society, people are going to talk, and not in a good way.
