The death of Otto Warmbier is very sad, but we need to take a breath before lashing out. Invading North Korea would put countless military lives in danger, and would only leave the U.S. with another endless war.
Though we know wild animals can kill, if you leave them alone, they’ll leave you alone. Should we go out and kill all wild animals for their potential to kill? No, of course not.
Just because you don’t agree with the laws in another country, it doesn’t mean you need to ‘liberate’ every place around the globe, and it certainly doesn’t mean you have an excuse breaking them.
This whole thing is just a really sad, cautionary tale. Don’t go to other countries with the idea of “saving” them. It never works out.
